We're using Assisted Home Care Services Corp for my mother-in-law 24 hours, seven days a week, and she's actually doing fairly well. We're using their private caregiver portion. They are being companions and were assisting her with her ADLs, her toilet training, and her meal preparation. They're also helping get her ready for the evening for bed, and they were available during the night if she had to get up to use the washroom or needed something to eat. The caregivers were great, they were probably middle to late fifties, early sixties. They were very kind and caring, they spent time trying to talk to her, and made sure she remained oriented. That gave good feedback to my husband and I through texting, if they were taking her blood pressure and stuff, and also with our little automated listing. So they were communicating all of her vital signs with us and let us know how her blood pressure was doing, so we could advise my mother-in-law on which meds she could take for that day. I think it's excellent. We were very pleased, we had no concerns with their ability to take care of her or to communicate with us of her needs. English is not the first language of my mother-in-law so that presented them with more of a challenge, but they were very patient.
