I hired Quality Care Senior Sitting to come and sit with my husband just about every morning for two hours. They're good, they'll come to clean, do laundry, and cook for him. My house is spotless. They sit with him, and that's what he needs, someone different to intervene, because one of the nurses knows and can sense your frustrations with him because I wasn't getting any sleep. I was exhausted and I was taking it out on him. Everything was upside down when he came back from the hospital after four days. I'm having them come maybe six hours a week; it depends. If his mood is changing on me, they said, "Just call me," 'cause they're just 15 minutes down the road. "I'll send someone." I said, "OK." That's why I liked her, because all the other companies they said, "Well, minimum four hours." I don't need four hours, I just need the two. Let me go to the grocery store, the bank, and I'm done. I don't need four hours. That's why I got her. She's awesome. Her company is great. I would recommend them. People want two hours. We don't need four. I can go get my hair trimmed and come right back, and that's the two hours. It takes an hour to get a trim. Let's say thirty minutes to get there and thirty minutes to get back, and then it takes an hour to get my hair trimmed. That's all I need, two hours. He got another female lady that came and sat with him; she was very nice. The owner's son started with her in her company, and he's a good boy, very gentle, and that's what my husband needs. The price is enough. It's $18 an hour, that's why I have to budget myself too, because I have to pay the night; eight hours for three nights. That's a lot of money I'm ditching out of my pocket, close to $4,000 a month. I call and tell her, "Something's wrong, he's not behaving right. Can you come?" She's there in thirty minutes.
