Review for Cornerstone Caregiving On November 27th, the caregiver assigned to me, Sara, did not meet expectations. She did not wash the clothes—I ended up washing them myself—and she also did not hang them up afterward. She complained about using bleach, though it wasn’t necessary, and she also complained about dish soap, even though I have more than a gallon available. She did not prep the food, which led to me losing 10 avocados. She did not put linen on my bed, nor did she use a broom on the floor. I had to work my way through arthritis and the hip surgery discomfort and get the rest of the things done. I have questions. Why was she trying so hard to get me to leave my home? What was she doing in my home while I was getting supplies that she did not need? What is most disappointing is that when I called for understanding, I found that she was rewarded for leaving me stuck. I always do my best to make things easy for caregivers, and most of the caregivers Cornerstone Caregiving sends are good. Unfortunately, this particular experience was very disappointing.
