I am currently a patient of Hospice and have been since 8/31/23 I am very happy with my Silver Team, from my nurse, social worker, respiratory therapist, and Chaplain!!

My father who has some dementia was leaving the hospital, however, we didn't have all the equipment from Hospice at home yet so Hospice said he could stay at there center in Ruskin until it arrived. He left the hospital Friday evening and because he was confused when he arrived they gave him meds to calm him alone with morphine. The following morning my daughter went to see him and the doctor told her he didn't have long to live and we should all get there. That afternoon when they came in to give him more meds I asked the nurse what the second needle was for and she told me morphine. I ask why when he wasn't in any pain, he was suppose to be going home. Three different times in the next 10 days the doctors at Hospice told us my dad only had 24/48 hours left or that he would be gone by morning. My advice to you is make sure your doctor tells you your loved one is dying real soon before you use Hospice and if you have to bring your loved one there be sure to have someone stay with him or her and ask a lot of questions. I hope this helps you out.

Life Path Hospice cared for my father during his final 6 months. He resided with my husband and me for 17 years. We cannot express what a relief it was to have their assistance at home his last 6 months, then more wonderful care when he was taken to hospice for his last few days. They are professional while being kind, caring and concerned not only with the patient but the families well being too. Top notch and we will be forever grateful .
