This staff was truly wonderful during my mother's passing. I was amazed at the individual care and compassion shown to her. A nurse stayed by her side both day and night at our house. It was a blessing to have my mom home with me so she could be relaxed knowing we were all right there with her. Her doctor came to the house on a Saturday morning, and brought the biggest smile to my mom's face. Something I will never forget. VITAS was gentle and kind. Making a most difficult experience for myself and my brothers easier. God bless each one of them. They also have a wonderful chaplain, and they helped us find a minister to visit us one evening, and a Catholic priest came to our house as well the day my mom passed. I had no idea what to do, and things would've been so upsetting without VITAS to provide the correct care and pain relief for my mom. I am thankful forever to them. They were exactly what my family needed at that time. And they keep contacting me to see how I am coming along with my grief.
