The Visiting Nurse Association are care givers upon request. They provide medication, instructions and a friendly person to talk and confer with. They are dispayched by physians, and care givers and are totally reliable.

Not the recommended hospice agency if your loved one is in northern Colorado and has a diagnosis of Primary Progressive Aphasia and FTD. I think a combination of their inexperience with the disease and the fact that they are based in the metro area rather than up north probably created the problem with their inability to provide quality hospice care. They were understaffed and the social worker tended to give updates that caused alarm to our family vs offer any help in how to resolve challenges. The professional thing they should have done is refer us to someone else vs provide lousy support during a stressful time for our family. We let the PCP who referred us to them know to prevent a repeat of this situation for another family
