What a blessing it was that my to be able to have my close family friends be taken care of by Oakhurst when my dad became terminally ill. When it became apparent that he was declining, everyone was anxious about how to continue care for him. Through the team, education and emotional support were provided which allowed for the whole family to come to terms with his declines and still provide a semblance of care for him with the understanding of what is needed for comfort. Knowing that his needs were taken care of from the start was immensely valuable in our grieving. Thank you so much!

I cannot begin to tell you how appreciative of the support and kindness my family and I were given by Oakhurst when my father became terminally ill. When we came to understand that he was going to pass, we were obviously a bit overwhelmed and sadness washed over us. But through a lot of coaching, education, and compassion from our nurse and social worker we were able to come to terms with the stark reality and spend the last days with my dad without fear of the end. Knowing that the needs of my father we met from beginning to end of this process was undoubtedly priceless and I would not of had it any other way. My never-ending gratitude is yours, thank you so much!

I don't know where I would be without Oakhurst stepping in to help me with my mother. Their nurses were compassionate and such great educators. I had so many questions going in (and was honestly probably a lot to handle at first) but they were always so prompt and thorough when it came to helping me understand this process. I loved that, no matter the time, they would always be available if I had questions or my mother was in distress of any sort. Throughout this entire experience we really felt supported physically, emotionally, and spiritually by the team. My deepest gratitude goes out to everyone at Oakhurst, they were an absolute godsend.

My father liked Oakhurst Hospice very much. They help with my mother's bathing because it was really hard to get someone to assist with that. We are very happy with the caregiver.
