My wife is bedbound, so they do hygiene, help with feeding, cleaning, bed change, etc. We've been with AmeriCare Sonoma for three months now. They've been the only organization that has found somebody that could come for hour visits and somebody that could come seven days a week. The caregiver also works part-time at a convalescent facility, and she has credentials. She is kind and caring, which is really important, conscientious, and patient. However, there were occasions when she had to go out of town or for a vacation, and they're kind of understaffed. There's such a high demand for caregivers where I live, and there's not an awful lot of them available. Happily, I was able to connect with AmeriCare. Instead of three companies, I got rid of two of them and kept one because the person was willing to work seven days a week.
