My elderly mother requires care 24/7 for her Alzheimer's.  While under Comfort Keeper's care, she fell while in the kitchen and broke her hip (purportedly the caregiver was right beside her when this happened).  My mother also left the house while the care giver was not watching her, and ended up at a neighbor's house with the police being called because my mother said she did not know where she lived and she was afraid.  Comfort Keepers changes its policies on a whim - certain times when my Mother needed to take a prescription, the caregivers administered this without issue.  Other times, I was required to take Mom's meds and put them in a pill tray for dispensing.  I was also required to put daily vitamins in a pill tray for dispensing since Comfort Keepers was "not authorized" to do this.  I won't get into my personal issues with the Comfort Keepers staff in this review, but I will close by saying that you definitely do not get what you pay for with Comfort Keepers services.  And you should - they are the most expensive caregivers in the industry.

We've had Comfort Keepers for about eight weeks now. They're doing a wonderful job for my wife. The caregiver who comes on a regular basis takes her out to lunch on Sunday. They color together and enjoy each other's company. They're excellent and friendly.
