I contacted Familiar Surroundings for my 83 year old Mother-in-Law who needed 24 hour live in care. The office staff was extremely professional and showed empathy and willingness to help during such a difficult time. A representative came to my home to give me an assessment for our needs and they were able to start working with my mother in law immediately. If I had any questions in regards to care, Familiar Surroundings was extremely responsive to my requests and they reassured me they would provide her with the best care. They paired my mother in law up with a wonderful caregiver who helps her with all her daily/nightly needs. I highly recommend this agency to anyone who requires in-home care.

When we needed them the most, Familiar Surroundings came through. My mom was being discharged and we needed caregivers quick. The staff worked their magic so fast and the caregivers were compassionate and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for their professionalism and prompt response in helping my family.

We like all of the caregivers from Familiar Surrounding, who we've had for about two months. They are very professional and really caring with my father; however, there were a couple episodes with inconsistency on their part, like they would be a little late. That should be better managed. They help clean, feed, and change my father. The price is fine and comparable.

We have used this company for about 3 years, for respite care of my 95 yr old mother-in-law. The caregivers who came initially were excellent, but the quality has gone down hill in the past year. Caregivers speak poor level of English, are incapable of supporting client (in transfer from bed to chair), and are not good at companionship duties.
