My mother used Bristol Hospice. She was in an assisted living facility, and the hospice staff was not there 24/7. When the regular staff needed more support or something was out of the realm of what they could do, hospice would come in and take care of whatever my mom's needs were. When my dad was passing, he also had the same people from Bristol Hospice. Everybody knew everybody, so it made it easy. These people know each other, and they see each other every day. They provided all the medical stuff. If mom needed something, they were the ones who provided it. For example, if she fell in the shower, they would come out and assess if she had an injury that needed medical attention or was it something that their skilled nurses were able to take care of. They also watched over my mom's medications. The workers were always very knowledgeable and friendly. They made things easy for me to manage my mom's care. I felt like she was getting better care than what I could give if I was trying to take care of her myself. They were really awesome and outstanding. Their staff was always friendly. During COVID, things kind of turned over a little bit across the board for everybody, but they always made changes. It felt really seamless to my mom. She never felt uncomfortable with whoever came to see her. She was always happy to see these people. She always knew that whoever it was, that person was going to be very friendly and attentive to her. My mom felt like all of her needs were being met.

My mom used Bristol Hospice for seven days. They were very good. We had a nurse three days a week, a lady come in twice a week to bathe her, and a clergy member come in. They came right away when she passed and even called me several times since. They've been excellent. They were very caring, answered all our questions, and were right here for us the whole time. They took good care of us.

The hospice care people that care for my mom are from Bristol. They are very understanding, very caring, and very eager to help. They provide nurses at least twice a week, plus are on call whenever there is a real problem. They are doing well. The medications and their doctor have been good. Before, we used them once every two months; now it is every month because of my mom's deteriorating condition. They provide chaplin services, which is nice for my mom because getting her to church is really impossible at this point. They have a social worker. They have been very good. The nursing care is outstanding.

My husband is in his care home, and we have brought Bristol Hospice in. They include a chaplain and a home care worker that comes. They have volunteers that will come and a social worker, so it’s for the entire family. I’m very pleased with the care. The caregivers are very strong, compassionate, kind, and very knowledgeable. They’re personable, thorough, very accommodating, and very prompt. It has been wonderful.
