I used Comfort Paradise Home Care Agency for four weeks. It was OK, and I would recommend them for someone who needed a lot of care. For someone who does not need a lot of care, there's a lot of downtime. I was satisfied and my brother was satisfied with the care given. The owner's name is Claudia. The caregiver was helping him with the bathroom because he had forgotten how to go use the bathroom. She also helped with his meals, his lunch, giving him juice, and just making sure that he was OK because he sleeps a lot. We don't need really a lot of medical care because his memory and some of the things he did before have come back. We chose them because the owner was the first one to reply, and I needed somebody right away; they were available right away. The caregiver was pleasant. My brother liked her right away and so did I. She seemed caring. I just wanted somebody who was nice and caring, and that's what she seemed like she was. She told me that she had talked to my brother, and he also said that they had a good conversation. It was a good experience. This was my first time with a caregiver; I felt relief. My brother is blind and even when I would leave (and I knew he could basically take care of himself), I always worried. The first day that the caregiver came and I went out, I had no worries about him. I had to pay a deposit which was OK, and the money was deducted from the account automatically. I had no complaints.
