With my husband's failing health and dementia I needed help with his care, such as bathing , dressing, meds and good companionship. Back Home found the perfect person to be with him three days a week giving me time to take care of personal business and free time to be with friends and family and respite from the 24/7 care my husbands requires. Stew's care giver brings music and movies they enjoy together and great converstionkeeping my husband in tune with the times. The Back Home owners also follow up with occasional visits and phone calls just to make sure all is going well. It has been a great help inallowing Stew to stay n his home.

Back Home Senior Care provides an affordable solution for older individuals or couples who require non-medical assistance such as meal preparation, light house work, errands, medicine reminders and companionship in order to remain as independent as possible in their own home. One-on-one services to our clients are performed by our excellent caregivers who are thoroughly screened, bonded and insured. We are family owned and operated, based in the city of Alameda, serving the East Bay. Each client is provided with his or her own Care Plan tailored specifically to meet his or her special needs. We also provide a special internal training program exclusive to members of The Senior's Choice Network. The Certified Companion Aide (CCA) program was developed to provide Caregivers with the specific skills necessary to handle the challenges they face daily. I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Back Home Senior Car for my mother. I was impressed how professional our initially interview and they recognized the need and was Abe to start in-home care asap. I liked that I got meet the girls first and get background on them before starting. I didn't realize until I was weeks into the service how I really needed a dependable service for mom that would wait for next girl to arrive before leaving. Each girl that came into our home was suited for mom. They took care of her day and night and took the time to know her and what she likes. They were awesome companions as well as care providers. The Care providers were always prompt and stayed over when needed. It was extremely easy to communicate with the service through phone or software tool. I like how they saw the need to bring in a nurse to help evaluate mom with helpful ideas before dr a ppt. Care providers kept a daily log of communication so one girl knows what was happening with mom. The service owners dropped in frequently to make sure all was going well. Over the two months we had this service we were extremely pleased and felt Wd made the right choice.
