I toured Archwood Senior Living. It wasn't anything I liked least other than the price, but the place was immaculate. The people were very nice. Carolyn was the person who toured me. They showed me the cafeteria, which serves three meals a day. My boyfriend can only eat certain things, and they would accommodate him because he can't have any vegetables. He said there would be no problem, and they would work around so that he could eat there comfortably and enjoy three meals daily, which was very important. The floor plan was great. It was a big circle, which made it easy for the people because sometimes their memories weren't the best, and I understand that. So, it was easy to access. I saw a couple of wheelchairs going around, and they seemed all happy and content. They could get around in their wheelchair, which made me feel like it was a very comfortable place to live. The room doesn't supply anything, and there is no bed, so you have to supply everything. I wasn't prepared to see that it was empty, but the other room, which my boyfriend could have had, was very nice. You looked out the window and saw kids playing in a play area. It must have been a daycare or something right out of his room. The bathroom looked very well equipped. They said they would help them take showers and stuff like that, and help him get himself dressed.

Archwood Senior Living was very nice. It's a new facility here in the town where I live. I think it would be awesome, but according to my sister's caseworker, they wouldn't fund her to live there. The staff seemed nice from the ones that I saw. They were busy doing things and caring for whatever they needed to do. They have their own kitchen. It's very clean.

The staff at Archwood Senior Living was very nice. My friend really liked it, but she said she didn't feel like it was homey enough for her. It was a really nice facility. They were so kind. Personally, if I were needing one, I'd want to go there, but they also had a whole year waiting. They were really, really good. I would recommend them very highly to anybody. They're just full. They're not expecting anybody to be leaving outside of a year. They are building another one and that won't be ready for a year. They are on a point system after so many things they'll do for you, and that concerned me. If you need medication then that's an extra point on top of the price. If she has to have somebody give her her medicine, then that's a point. If she needs reminders of things, that's a point. They have memory care if she would need to transition to that.
