My uncle has moved into Care Partners Assisted Living and Memory Care in Eau Claire West. He started in the assisted living room and then he got moved to the memory care because he walked away. He opened the doors, and he didn't know where he was or what he was doing, so they moved him over to the memory care. The layout was very nice. It's all wide open, and the hallways are nice and wide. I thought it was very nice. It's also all one level. They have activities. The residents were coloring, some of them were playing a game, and some of them were watching TV. As far as amenities, they get three meals a day, they have their own room, and they have very a nice walk-in shower, a nice big bathroom, and a nice big room. The staff is awesome. She explained everything to us. She's called us when they've had problems like when he left. The other staff have been good with him as far as coming and getting him and reminding him, 'C'mon, it's time for lunch,' and stuff like that. They've been very good to him. He said the food is good. The facility is nice and clean. It's a clean, safe place. I think they could have more outdoor space for the ones in the memory care. However, he is doing well.

We toured Care Partners Assisted Living and Memory Care. It's new, it's only a year old. It seemed very sensible, they were COVID conscious, but not COVID paralyzed. It's 60 beds. The rooms were smaller and more open, but that's OK with my mother's issues, and they could walk by and see my mother. There are community areas, they do laundry, provide supplies there, and you can even rent a bed if you want to. The location is fairly accessible, and close to a main highway. They have the typical stuff, bingo, physical therapy, group exercise, they also have fellowship, bible study, and live music when the pandemic clears again.

I would pick Care Partners Assisted Living and Memory Care in Eau Claire West for my parents. It was a very clean and nice facility. The residents were playing a game in the common area, a lot of the women had make-up on, they had their jewelry on, and those were important to me. The activities there had everybody involved, the women seemed very happy playing, and the hallways had no dead-ends, every hallway would end up right back in the common area. The biggest selling point for me was that there was an assisted living side where my dad could be, and he would just walk down the corridor to go visit. It smelled good in there, the other thing I liked is that it had a secure area where my mom could go, and it had a path that she could walk.
