"I toured Vista Prairie at Brentwood yesterday for my dad, and I was very pleased. I liked it. We met with Jane, and she is just very passionate about her job and Brentwood. We could tell that she loves working there and working with the staff and residents. She showed us all around the rooms, we went into the courtyard, and she showed us a couple of very spacious shower rooms. I enjoyed how spacious the rooms were and the bathrooms. You get it decorated up with the person's personal belongings and it's almost like it's a great little hotel room, it just was very inviting. It was very warm and very clean. She went over the specific details about pricing and what it would take to get my dad in there. We pretty much got to see everything, it was very nice. We got to meet a few of the residents and most of them were at Spa Day, getting their hair and nails done and stuff like that. We met the activities director, she was also very bubbly. I felt comfortable and I felt really good about it. It was a nice place. They also let us know that we could eat there with our dad, so that was good to know. I like how it kind of goes in a circle and not just not up and down, the way it was laid out. It goes around so you can walk around."

"We chose Cambridge Senior Living because of availability and it's a very nice, well kept up place. My mother seems very happy with the amenities and programs. They do a lot of activities for the residents, and she stays pretty active. Everything seems to be put together. They have individual rooms, and they have good staff. It's brand new. She said the food is very good."

"Woodstone Senior Living was updated and well maintained. They had a big menu with variety. You can either get the special for the day or you can order several items that they would cook especially for you."

"When we got to VitaCare Living-Bloomer I, they weren't expecting us at all. The main lady wasn't there so her assistant helped us and she didn't know that much. So, we didn't get much help. She showed us around the rooms and I was disappointed in the rooms. They weren't prepared for me at all. Then the lady that was there didn't know what to tell us. She had no idea. They didn't have any brochures for it to look at."

"I went to VitaCare Living - Spooner II. They weren't expecting me, so I didn't meet with the person that I was supposed to meet, but from what I saw it was clean. The people were taken care of pretty well. They had some dogs in there, which I thought was kind of nice. My mom would have liked that. The room was a good size that they showed me. When I sat down and talked to the person, I thought that they would take Social Security, but I guess you have to pay for it yourself. The one room I saw was a good size, that had a bed, a big closet, and had a nightstand. It was clean. They weren't able to show me around that much, only one room, and we sat in the living room where people were sitting. It was pretty."
