I went to Tukwila Village Senior Living. It was very clean and very adequate. They had one and two-bedroom apartments. They had a smaller unit that had the bed and the living room in the same area, and it still had a kitchen and a bathroom. The facility is very clean, very neat, and less expensive. I didn't like the area of Tukwila Village. It is on a very busy highway. They don't serve food. They don't have a dining room, so you have to take care of your own food. There is a grocery store across a very busy street. I'm coming to a point where I won't be driving much longer, and so I have to figure out how to get my food. That's one of my basic problems, if I don't choose a place that has food inside. The minute they serve food, the price goes up a lot. They were very nice people, but I don't think it's a care facility. I think it's a senior apartment. It's a very nice place. They do have a library that is attached to the property, and I think anybody can use the library. You just walk across the court area to get to the library; that would be very useful for people. The staff was very accommodating. They were very interested in showing you all the good things about the community. They were very well trained, but I think they were people from other communities to help show people the community. I don't think that they are staff that necessarily will be there when they're not having an open house.

We toured the Tukwila Village Senior Living. It was very good. It was brand new. The young man that gave us the tour was very helpful. He was really good. It was a good experience. The apartments were very nice. They were small, but very, very nice. Maintenance was really good. They had movie theaters, activity rooms, libraries and reading rooms. They had a pavilion area, and I think there might have been a gardening area. It was more of an urban setting, so it's not like there were lots of grounds or anything. I thought the community was very updated, very modern, and very well-kept.

Tukwila Village Senior Living was new and nice. We looked at the two-bedroom, and it was spacious. It had a washer and dryer hookup and a patio. They had a common area, a barbecue grill, a deck, and a great room. It was very clean, very new, and very independent. I didn't see that many residents.
