The Residence at Otter Creek

I loved The Residence at Otter Creek. I thought it was really excellent. The guy that took us around dad an exceptionally good job. They had independent living and assisted living. I thought the community was very quiet. The rooms were not huge. They’re apartment-type, and you bring your own furniture.

I thought The Residence at Otter Creek was very top-notched. My mother is one-hundred years-old; so she felt settled at that point cause we already had her at this other place, but she wasn’t completely happy. It’s a big place. It’s much like the one my mother was in New Jersey. It was very nice, the rooms were gigantic, and we were impressed with it. I think they could be overwhelming for somebody who used to live in a cozy place.

The Residence at Otter Creek just seemed really cheery, and they had a lot of activities and things to offer. They had a swimming pool, a hairdresser on site, exercise rooms -- all kinds of stuff. They were like three stories, and from the top two you had a very good view.

My mother has been at the Lodge for nearly 3 years now, starting in Asst Living and now in Memory Care. The staff are very competent, and always have a sweet and friendly word. The facility is well designed, and not the slightest bit institutional. There is good interpersonal communication. The food is great. The residents are interesting and interested "” there is always something interesting going on. I feel my mother has been extremely well cared for. I highly the recommend the Lodge at Otter Creek.
