I was a patient for a month in the fall of 2019 following a hip replacement. I had been scarcely able to walk for some time and was so weak I could barely take a few steps. The room was attractive. I also had severe back problems and had a special twin mattress at home. Their lift chair made my back pain a lot worse, so they kindly let me bring my mattress and lift chair, which I really appreciated. Their physical therapy department was wonderful, and when I left I could walk the length of their hall with just a cane. The staff were kind, hardworking, helpful and respectful. One has to realize that this type of facility does not have the same amount of staff as a hospital, so there will be a wait at times. I was never ignored and they made every effort to come promptly, and I tried to organize myself so that they could do everything I would need for a while while they were there. When I was there, I would have given the food 3 stars, and the taste of some choices could have been improved, but I soon learned what not to order and there was always a choice of a grilled cheese sandwich or hamburger if the other choices were not appealing. The regular activities director was out of town while I was there, so I think they normally had more activities, but they had bingo and sing a longs and story telling and church services. In all, I found it an attractive, restful place to heal with kind staff and an excellent rehabilitation program.

This facility could care less about pain management. First night I was told I had to wait until scheduled med was due (the next morning). Next night I waited 4 hrs for med after being told the pharmacy was to deliver the med. Come to find out, the med box was full of the med. They had a FULL bottle (60 pills), of my Tramadol for 1 day. Next day when I got it back, 20 pills left. I only used 3 pills. My how they profited from that. Use my med at no cost to them.

Our father is a current patient and is treated with less caring and compassion than anyone in the health care system should ever be treated. How hard is it to give the man his ordered/scheduled pain medication or check in on him and attend to his comfort and daily needs?? Needing to call the nursing staff almost daily and requesting that they not leave the man waiting for hours for his pain meds is unacceptable! Just when one thinks that the issue is resolved by calling a seemingly caring administrator and discussing concerns after numerous attempts to resolve his care with the nursing staff (meds, swollen feet, being left to sit for hours, etc..) a new issue appears - now my 93 year old recovering hip surgery father can not even get anyone to look in on him in an entire day to make his bed!! Is anyone paying attention - does anyone really care about our loved ones as we are not able to enter the facility due to the Covid 19? Thank you transport for your kindness and PT for helping my father get back on his feet. He is extremely happy to be going home!

I was in this facility for one week after a three day stay in the hospital after a fall off a 20 foot ladder. I entered Stonehenge with a broken back, severe trauma, and unable to walk from the fall. Initially I needed assistance to stand and to take care of basic needs. The staff was always a call button away to help with any physical need. Pat, the nutritional specialist personally shopped to accommodate some special requests. Amanda, and Emily, the occupational and physical therapists were professional and personable. All of the staff went out of their way to show kindness and respect not only to me but all those they served. I can’t see how the staff of any facility could show more personal care, professionalism, and consideration than what I was shown. Hats off to the staff of Stonehenge. The room was new, spacious and clean. At night the door needed to be opened a crack for good air flow. Overall, the quality of food, new clean spacious room, and the amazing staff I give Stonehenge five stars.

My husband was there for about 1 - 1/2 weeks after having 2 valves replaced double bypass and a pacemaker put in. The first night he spent there, I spent the night with him, and a good thing I did not one nurse or aid came into his room. An aide came in during the night when I accidentally pushed the call button. At that time it was very hard for my husband to get up and use the bathroom he was very weak and someone had to help him in and out of bed and to walk. I had to bring him food from home, the food was terrible and the menu usually had a few items. The nurse staff was terrible, there was no communication not very friendly and seemed to be busy to give pain meds, when you ask for something like medication they always seemed to busy to help you my husbands dressings were not changed for 4 days and the only reason we knew that is when I took him to the dr. And she wanted to see is incision and the bandage was dated 4 days prior oh and I brought water mugs for him and they would take them and replace them with other patients mugs that had the other patients names and room numbers after fighting with them and putting notes up on wall they finally got the message. I read the reviews before he went there and they were all good and it was so close to our house I was so excited but after my husband being there I would not recommend this facility to any one I was very disappointed. Housekeeping does not change sheets very often for I had questioned that too. I had to make sure my hubby had water before I left in the evening they never checked his oxygen levels and make sure he had his oxygen on He is also a diabetic and he really got upset when the nurse wanted to give an injection while he was eating in the dining room with other patients. That is a personal issue that other strangers do not need to know

My father was there for cardio therapy and his stay overall was good. The physical therapist were very attentive and great to work with. The nursing staff during the day seemed to be aware of his needs and preferences, but anytime after 5:00 or weekends the care significantly changed. I would say the care was 5 star during normal business hours and 3 stars after hours and weekends.

My father has been in Stonehenge for six weeks now. It’s a newer place, so it’s nice and clean, and they have a great staff. They’re a little more expensive, they do have a long term wing, but not a lot of space for people to be there. They need to improve on communication, and they should have a protocol on accountability, and as to what happens on every shift. I took my dad to lunch, and he was brought 3 meals that were not his.

My mother-in-law was at Stonehenge of Ogden. It’s a good place, and they took really good care of her. I also like that it was really close to the hospital. Everything was new, so it was very nice.
