River Meadows Senior Living has several levels of care. Their main building has a very nice dining room. They also have a game room where they have bingo and all kinds of games that they schedule and play. The community is involved in those games. They also invite talents in several times during a week. The dining room has been changed into a meeting room. It's full of chairs where people can sit and be entertained by different types of entertainment. I have been invited to eat several times, and I have not experienced a meal that I didn't enjoy. The rooms are very clean. They have a staff of women that go in, clean, vacuum, and dust. The rooms are very nice, and the people are very comfortable in the rooms. We have two people there who are our friends, so we get to see exactly how they feel, and they seem to be very satisfied. They have cottages, too. They're like little homes. They have more than one bedroom, a living room, and a freestanding kitchen, everything you would want if you were living in your own home. The staff is great. They have a lot of young nurses. They treat these old people like they were their grandmothers. I've known it for several years, I've been there visiting friends of mine who passed away there, and the facility even called and let me know that my friends have died. It's just a loving atmosphere there that I have been impressed with. They go all out with regard to activities, and I have been invited to attend some of them. On the 4th of July, they had a big dinner. They had a lot of these shade things put up, and they served hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, beans, taro chips, drinks, and soda pop or water. We've been invited to come over and enjoy that.

I liked the layout of the apartments at River Meadows Senior Living. They were individual apartments so you had your own front door and back door and your own garage. I liked that you were part of a community where you could eat in your own place if you wanted to and take your own washer and dryer with you. The people were great. They have some therapy and exercise classes. For us, this was by far the better fit.

I was very impressed with River Meadows Senior Living. They had 2 different types of facilities, they had individual cottages, as well as more of a higher level of assisted living, there were little apartment rooms within a large building. They had a large, spacious, and very nice dining area, the staff who showed me around was very friendly, and at that time, I was very impressed with the little cottages, because I thought that was a place my in-laws would like to move into. It seemed like a very nice facility, and took good care of their clients.

River Meadows was awesome. They're very professional and very attentive to the needs of their community. They offered wonderful activities and varied opportunities every day for the residents. The location is unparalleled in all of Utah, probably, so it's very positive. They have assisted living apartments that are relatively new, and that's where the residents don't need full assisted living because they still have independence. They also showed us rooms within their primary building -- which is all assisted living. What's nice about that is for those who do still have independence is they can live in the apartments and get nurses on call, but when they need into full assisted living, they can move into the building, so it's really nice. They have a gym, a little fitness center which is very nice, a recreation/meeting hall room, a separate sitting room with a library, and the kitchen area and common area were very clean and nice. They have really nice amenities.

River Meadows Senior Living has a memory care unit which was an advantage for us. What attracted us were the individual houses which were like town homes. The staff was accommodating and helpful. There was a lot going on when we visited the place. The residents are very independent.

River Meadows Senior Living was a very nice facility. But it had one drawback. It had seventeen cottages, I think, plus an assisted living unit and a memory unit, but the one problem was we would have been the only gentiles in the place. The scenery was beautiful. The cottages were very nice, well built, and well laid out. Actually, they were the only ones we looked at that had two-car garages, and some of them had full basements. But the community wasn't for us.
