The Gardens at Livingston is excellent. They're very knowledgeable, and they're very thoughtful of the people who are living there; they're very helpful. Overall, it's very good. They manage my dad's medicines, so that's a plus, and it's important. It's the best.

I give this facility one star and that is for it's outside appearance. We have moved my mother to a better facility in Livingston. The staff is very sparse on weekends and I don't feel the residents get the attention they deserve. The housekeeping left a lot to be desired. It is my opinion that if you are considering this facility, you need family members who can help with their care and check on them daily.

The place is alright, I would say standard nursing home fare. The lighting was really nice, the employees were polite and seemed to build personal relationships with the residents. The food was not the best, not that I was expecting greatness or anything. Technology was up to par with modern hospitals, they were definitely not lacking in this area. If I had a relative I would not feel bad sending them here. There seems to be a sense of family about the place, and it isn't nearly as depressing like nursing homes usually tend to be. All in all, the Gardens is not a bad place to send your loved ones for the golden years of their lives. I'm sure there are places a bit better, but you could definitely do worse than the Gardens at Livingston. On a scale of 1-5 I would give it a 3. Again, not the best. Not the worst.
