My wife has moved into Pegasus Landing of Forney. She's in memory care. I think the best thing so far is the people who work there. They've taken an interest in her, and they're trying to make her settle in. It's very clean and neat. She's been there just a little over three weeks, but I think they've got good round-the-clock care, getting her ready for bed and getting her up in the morning. She seems to be taken care of. Her medicines are taken care of properly. So far, so good. The staff has been really good. I've not participated in the meals so far, but they look pretty decent. The memory program uses the same area for about everything. It's not a separate area. They just make sure that everybody's cleaned up and ready to go to eat when it's time. They're gonna do some remodeling in the area where my wife stays. The activities I've noticed have been coming up with words and a relative theme, like words you use at Christmas or words you use at Easter, or something like that. They have a beauty shop. I like the fact that the doctors specialize in that area, so we don't have to go to doctors anywhere else anymore.

Facility has come under new ownership. It was a great place a year ago when my parents moved in. Now is a different story: Facility smells of urine Food is very bad. Lots of processed, pre made food that is not good. Director (Deion) seems indifferent to the issues when presented to him. It was so bad, my 87 and 89 year old parents independently found another place and moved! Do not consider this facility for any elderly person. It is in a state of deterioration.
