San Rafael Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is an older facility that was recently redone to be much nicer than it used to be. The room has a bed, dresser, little closet, rocking chair, and sitting chair. Everything looks fine and has been very good. I'm very happy with it so far.

They have a new Administer who is very nice but unfortunately there are SO many problems he hasn't been able to address them all. There is a high staff turnover and they had a recent resident wander out the door of the main facility. I looked at the memory unit and the staff is HORRIBLE. I only saw one man and a petite women helping the residents. They were not friendly at all. I have witnessed them talking ugly and yelling at the 4 residents in the memory unit. My loved one is in the main facility but due to their wandering we were considering the memory unit area until my visit. We will be looking for a new facility. Elderly residents should not be yelled at. Most of them are scared as it is.
