My mom is at the nursing facility of Alta Vista Rehabilitation and Healthcare. She's doing pretty well and will be back home soon. It's not a state-of-the-art facility, but they get the job done. The rooms are not good, they're too small. The maintenance is good, though, so it's clean. Some of the staff members are on YouTube in the nurse's station. They were watching The Young and the Restless this morning, and that's ridiculous for me. They should be attending to the residents there. The food is pretty good. The activity director is also pretty good. It's an old nursing home. My mom has a friend there, so that's why she wanted to go there, but they should just build a new facility. The advantage is that it costs less and they're trying to do the best they can. My mom's doing pretty well physically, so the rehab is pretty good.
