This is one of the better facilities that we reviewed before placing our dad there. I love the fact that they have cats and birds and your animals from home can always come and visit. there are always activities going on from bingo to ice cream socials, trips to Walmart, trips to the beach, they have cook out and so much for the residents this is a great facility. There are a few down side often on the later shifts there does not seem to be enough help, but they still try to make sure that everyone is covered. The nurses and the aids work together to make sue that the family member gets the best care that they can. I love the fact they are very open with allowing the residents to have family member come and use the facilities to have parties and family dinners. I would defiantly recommend.

I recently visited a family member at Kingston Nursing Center in Conway,SC. The atmosphere was so friendly, the facility more homelike than I expected. The residents seemed well cared for, all dressed appropriately and nicely. The smells were only associated with sweetness, nothing acrid as with some long term facilities. The staff were very accomodating in helping me find my way to my sweet great aunt. It was a pleasant day that made me happy my aunt is well cared for in such caring hands and wonderful facility. I also loved the pets that were allowed to wander around the residents, many being petted by the residents.
