My father is in rehab at Conway Manor. He has developed bedsores on his foot. They have a wound care team there, a nurse that sees him five days a week, and a doctor that sees him once a week to try to get those healed so that he can go to assisted living. He cannot leave there until that's addressed. He's been getting physical therapy, and they're getting him ready and mobile enough to go to an assisted living place. I talk to him every day. I can't go in there because of this COVID situation, but he's very lucid. He has his mind, and he tells me constantly how wonderful they are to him and what great care they're giving him. I'd know if they weren't, he'd be telling me. I also talk to the staff all the time, and they're always updating me on his progress. They've all been very nice. All my dad does is give me glowing reports of them. When they take the phone to him, I can hear how they speak to him. They're very, very nice. According to my father, the food would probably be the worst part, but I think he's really lost his sense of taste. Even things that I drop off for him that he wants taste terrible to him.

My friend was admitted here this afternoon after having major hip surgery. She has not received any or her medications that are prescribed by her doctor. The staff has paid little to no attention to her needs. The bed has no rails and she can not get up to use the bathroom. There are no chucks for the bed or any wipes. She has no one to care for her. It is my hope that the people who work there would put themselves in other people's circumstances and simply do their job with compassion and kindness.

My father developed pneumonia and a pressure ulcer in this facility. His condition deteriorated so much that WE had to call 911because this "rehab" center would not do anything. The hospital admitted him to the ICU for two weeks.

Beware of Conway Manor!! The worst care and rehabilitation ever. I wouldn't let them care for my dogs!! 15 minutes to a half hour to answer a call. Most of the staff is incompetent. They couldn't even transfer a phone call. Do not send your love one there!!!

My friend was a patient at Conway manor earlier this year. I left a message for the director twice. He did not return my call. The website states you will be notified if your love one contact the covid-19 virus. That's a LIE, my friend got the virus SHAME on you!!! NO one contacted the family. The state is all over this facility. Medicare/Medicaid

I am a current resident here at Conway Manor and came here for physical and occupational therapy following a terrible car accident. I was transported straight here from McLeod hospital in Florence. Yes. I am the youngest resident here but I love going to a STOCKED library and relaxing in my room with a book. All the staff has been phenomenal especially my physical therapist, they push me just the right was for therapy to work. I haven't joined in any, but I'm aware of a lot of activities, personally I enjoy my silent room for my recovery right now. I hear many of the residents that love the activities. I highly recommend Conway Manor for yourself or your loved ones

My mom was a resident at Conway Manor. She had a cute room that we fixed up like home. The staff was friendly, caring and helpful in every way. Mom loved playing bingo, live entertainment and arts & crafts. I have kept several items my Mom made for me while there. Community support is strong from Churches, florists, libraries and individuals that care. The Beauty shop services available are a great plus to this facility. My Mom was a regular for a weekly wash a set. I`ll always be thankful for the excellent care and love they gave to my Mom.

Our visit at Conway Manor was good. They showed us around. They have a lot of staff and have their staff go into the rooms of patients who are not able to go into the cafeteria. They also had assistance to help feed the patients. It's very clean, I really didn't find anything negative, and I spent quite some time with them. They had private rooms with bathrooms and rooms that you share with bathrooms. I didn't see any rooms where you had to go into the hallway to the bathrooms. They had a board with activities. They do crafts, singing, and had different church groups come in from the community to interact with the patients. They had a lot more to offer.

Three strikes against this place... The staff was hit or miss... some good some not so good. My biggest complaint is that my dad, a high risk patient for falls, fell twice, while there. The second fall occurred at 11 pm, but they waited until 12 noon the next day to transport him to a local hospital for a CT scan. He was admitted for observation and I'm writing this review from his room. I was also told that I needed to cancel his cardiologist appointment due to medicare not allowing him to be transported to outside appointments. I have now found that this was misinformation that could have put my dad at risk. The third strike was that the physical therapy assistant rolled her eyes at dad who didn't understand what she wanted him to do. He suffers from dementia following a stroke and heart attack. I am not impressed and will not take my dad back there.

My mother in law has been at Conway Manor for 4 years and at first we were hesitant, but it was close to home and we knew we would be there often. The staff gets to know you and the patient and always calls with any issues. We do go often and unexpected and have never found any issues. My mother in law does have dementia, but can still care for her self, so no issues at this time.

The staff at Conway Manor are AMAZING! When arriving, wonderful receptionist, front desk agent Victoria is as helpful and sweet as can be! Social worker Vanessa and Nurse Brandy are so patient, helpful and kind with all that they do to make sure that they are being most helpful, and very reassuring that their patients and residents are receiving the best treatment! It's tough work, and I am truly grateful to have my dad being cared for through his rehab process there at Conway Manor! I truly thank them so much for the miracle workers that they are. I'm forever grateful to each and every one of them! - Sincerely, Aminah

My mother was in Conway for rehab; it was old, sterile, and needed updating. The staff was nice, fine, and accommodating. It was easy to get to. They were so helpful with taking care of all the insurance stuff.

My husband has been in Conway Manor since October. They are doing really well with him. The staff is working really well. They are wonderful. They have a room that has two beds, a chair, a TV, and a closet for each person. I know they have some activities, but I don't know if he is participating with any of them or not because he has dementia. I think I'll rate them pretty good because I didn't want him to go there at first, but he has been well cared for in that facility.
