We toured Pleasant Ridge. They don't have en suite restrooms so that for us was a complete non-starter. The other concern was we were in the building for 15 or 20 minutes and nobody even noticed we were there, so I'm concerned about the security. They're very rundown. There are cracks on the walls and even in the recently remodeled room, the heating registers were all bent and falling off, and it just didn't look like it was very well maintained. The staff walked around the building with us and showed us things. They were very friendly and nice.

The rooms are dingy, the staff takes constant long breaks, the resident bathrooms are disgusting and staff does not clean them regularly. They feed the residents very very little and they are always hungry. I would not recommend this facility to anyone !

Pleasant Ridge seemed very homey, and I could see my uncle in there. I think he would have enjoyed it there. It was private, so that would mean he'd have to pay, and he doesn't have the resources to do that. The staff in charge gave us a good tour and introduced us to the staff and explained all the different options that were available and what activities they did. It was a good tour, but the place was kind of small, so it didn't take very long. They had a calendar of events, but I didn't see any activity in place. They had a pool table down below.

My mom is at Pleasant Ridge. It's a nice place. The staff members seemed nice and caring. My mom's room is pretty much spotless, except for the string that goes around the wall. When they need help, they pull the strings. It was all around the room. Her room is a good size. The dining area looked nice. It was like a cafeteria. The grounds are very nice. It has a courtyard and a smoking area. It's a country setting. They have activities.

Had family here. Food is not hot or looks good. Clothes and belongings getting stolen. Not able to help if needed. And new people every couple months. Just a job to these people they don't care! Don't send your family here!
