My mother stayed at Northview Estates. It's a very good community, but she was a little beyond staying there because her dementia put her over the edge. They have church, crafts, and sing-alongs. The food was excellent. It's a real nice place. They just don't have a bed open in the dementia unit right now, so as soon as they have a bed open, I'm going to move her back there. They took real good care of her.

Northview Estates has a van which takes people places like to appointments or shopping. The rooms are big and nicely appointed. They have bingo, cards, and crafts.

It was so comforting to have all of the staff visit my father at his funeral, I felt that I could enjoy more time with him while the staff took care of him and his needs I will always remember the kindness of all of the staff

My father has been in the Dementia Unit for some time now. This has been a very difficult time for my family . The staff has made this time much easier for us to deal with. Their care and concern has meant so much to us.

This is NOT a place where I would put anybody I loved at!! The care is extremely poor. When I went to management about an issue with my mom they said that they would take care of it. They never did. The problem is still ongoing and nobody s doing anything about it!!! Its at the point that I'm taking her out of this facility and taking her else where. Please do not put a loved one at this facility!! They will NOT get the proper care in this place. I spoke with billie the administrator and nichole the RCC. They did absolutely nothing to resole this issue!!

The van used for transporting residents to doctor's appointments, banks, grocery stores, etc, is always broke down. With my brother and I living out of town it is very difficult for my mom to get around since the van seems to be out of commission every other month!! Also, from what I understand the food is awful and the previous comments were correct about the terrible parking and no outdoor space for residents.

Their parking lot is extremely cramped. The building is old, dingy, and it needs lighten up. I asked about outdoor space, so Mom and Dad could go outside and get some sunshine. There was absolutely nothing available for them to go outside. There was no outdoor space whatsoever, no courtyard, not even the top of the roof. So there they sit, in an old, dingy, dark place. It was very reasonably priced. It was cheaper and very affordable. But I wouldn't put my parents there. They had a dementia care program, and they had respite. They have a huge cafeteria area, but I didn't try the food. When I went there, they had a whole bunch of people sitting around the TV. They could lighten up the place and change their location. There's nowhere to expand it outside. The staff was friendly.
