Independent Living Reviews for Stoneybrook Lodge

I am/was a resident of this facility

I'm happy living here at Stoneybrook Lodge. It is owned by Holiday, and it seemed to be nice. I don't like the management, but I can't do anything about that. They have quite a turnover. The facility is fine. I'm living here because my daughter lives in Corvallis and I checked it out. I have a 1-bedroom place with a small patio for my dog. The food is getting better because we have a better cook. We've been through several of them. They have a lot of activities like games, puzzles, bean bag baseball, trips on the bus, mahjong, exercise class, and water exercises.

I visited this facility

I liked Stoneybrook Lodge a lot because of the setting. The pictures online showed that it was decorated in pink, but it really wasn’t pink, which was a great relief to me. They gave me a nice tour of the place and seemed friendly. They provide the meals, have a beautician on site, and have a swimming pool for exercise. I really liked the view from the apartments, and the dining area was attractive.

I visited this facility

Stoneybrook was a very nice facility and it was a little bit bigger. It has a swimming pool and I really like the ground floor rooms with their own exit and entrance to the room. You can either walk into the building or out of the building, which is really nice. We really like it, and it was worth the price. People seemed really happy.

Stoneybrook was clean. I liked that it was very open, welcoming, and had lots of windows. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were spacious. The environment outside was very nicely landscaped, and it looks very safe. There were lots of different options depending on what you preferred your needs might be. The staff was very friendly. I didn’t have an appointment. I just walked in, but they made sure they have time for me. They answered all my questions. They took me on a tour, and then we sat to talk about what some of their needs might be. They also offered me some additional resources available here in Oregon to assist with payments.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Stoneybrook is a great facility. It lets my mother have the freedom as much as she can handle. She pretty much has independent living as much as she can and she can call for help anytime. It’s clean and fairly new.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Mom is at Stoneybrook Lodge. They have so many activities like outdoors, gardening, and they also have an athletic club that is community owned that the residents can go to. They have a bus that will take them four days a week several times a day to wherever they want to go. You can be as busy as you want or relax as you want. There are tons of activities there. I am extremely impressed with everything about this place. The managers have spoken to me directly every time I go there. The employees are wonderful and polite. The servers that serve the meals are very professional and polite. I would recommend them to anybody.

I was very happy with Stoneybrook Lodge. It was very nice, and everything seemed great. They had a lot of activities. The only thing I was concerned about was that it was a very large facility, and there was only one elevator. My mother would have to walk quite a distance to get to the elevator.

My first impression of Stoneybrook Lodge was that it was very nice and very clean. It was also very quiet. I have come across them when somebody told me about it. I went in and took a look at it. I had lunch there and it was a good lunch. Their menu was very good. The staff was very patient with their residents. They were having some activities but I didn't pay attention to them at all.

I visited this facility

It was summer when I took a nice tour at Stoneybrook Lodge. The staff was great. They were very helpful, friendly and informative. They also answered all my questions. The facility has a studio, one and two bedrooms but I didn't know if there were variation in sizes. They don't have a cafeteria, only a dining room. I think they were right in line with the price with the other facilities I looked into.
