My experience at Shawn Manor last year during Christmas was very beneficial in several different ways. For starters, I was thoroughly enthralled to have the chance to meet several different residents of Shawn Manor and hear personal stories from numerous residents residing there. When first entering the residence I was taken back at how many residents were actually living at the place. With the amount of people all residing in the same location I assumed it would have been quite difficult to maintain the cleanliness of the facility. This was in no way true at all. The residents explained to me the quality of their stay at Shawn Manor and described to me that they were taken care of very well by the faculty who ran the home. I took notice of the room sizes where members of the home lived in. Each room had plenty of space for visiting family, which was a strong point for many residents when it came to deciding between houses to live in. Overall, my experience visiting the Shawn Manor gave me insight to see how the residents lived and went about their lives in a comfortable manor all to be thanked for by the immense and helpful staff working there.
