My wife (age 72) has been a resident at Lancia Villa for over a year mostly with physicql problems and some .slowly developing dementia, Prior to this she had been a patient at various other long-term care facilities for rehab. in Ohio and West Virginia. One in particular, in Ohio, she had been a rehabilitaion patient on four different occasions. Based on these past experiences she and I are very happy that we chose Lancia Villa for a permanent nuirsing home. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. I can not say enough about the wonderful staff of nurses and aides. The quality of care here is far and above any other place she had been..I can talk freely with the nurses and administrative staff. We are all on first name basis.. At the other places, I was ignored or they were too busy to answer questions. Due to this wonderful ability of interaction and total lack of interaction elsewhere, I am proud to give Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home a FIVE (5) star rating..!!

My husband was there for over 1 year. He needed a lockdown unit and this area does not offer many choices. It was a disgrace and many patients who had few or no visitors got the least amount of care.

My mother was a resident of this facility There is no such thing as a perfect nursing home, never has been, never will be. So if you're looking for one, I wish you luck. My mother was a resident of Lancia Villa Royale for eight years until her passing at 96. Over the years my mother an I had various issues with the facility, but the staff and management always handled them and everything worked out in the end. I was her son and would have no problem going into Lancia's for care.

Would not recommend this facility for a dog. Urine smell is awful. Patience wait forever to go to the rest room, food was taken of my shelf, and clothes missing. A friend came to visit one day and called for an aid to empty the potty chair. Urine was up to the rim. The aid came in and said "I'm not the only one who works here." The urine spilled all over the floor as she emptied it. Rating a one star is too much for this place.
