"We found the Heartland of Marietta for my mom. She's been there for a month now. They take excellent care. The staff is very skilled and very good at working with the patients. It was clean, it was easy to find the rooms. Easy to get to the nursing station. She likes the food. She needed a special diet, and they did pretty well in bringing her the right kind of food."

"I am currently in the Embassy of Cambridge for long-term care, and I am tickled to death to be here. Everything that I've used so far has been better than I even thought it would be. The meals are fantastic, the laundry is done properly, and the staff members are all state-tested nursing aides, LPNs, and RNs. The management also has a caring attitude, so I couldn't be happier. I have a private room, and it is twice the size of the one I came from. It has big windows, too, so I can look out and watch deer. It's just a nice place. They have all kinds of activities, and I'm a preacher, so I'm holding services here on Sundays and Wednesdays."

"My husband is a resident at arbors. I am very pleased with the care he is getting. All the staff has been great at working with him. Everyone has been very kind and respectful and very welcoming to myself and to my husband. "

"Rooms are small and need repainted but that doesn't effect the care of residents. The staff I can't say enough about them. They are all Angels Activity people, Cleaning , Kitchen , Repair, Front desk, Office, Aides, and Nurses. Eveyone of these people treat every person there like they are their parent. I am not fond of nursing homes but I must say this one was amazing with the care my mom got. Rachel and Tammy getting visits in during covid and making the vistiors feel very important too. They are two amazing people. Nurses and Aides that worked with my mom are the most wonderful people I have ever meet. The memory Unit is awsome and all of the people working there are God sent. Harmar Place has the most amazing staff it didn't matter which shift was working they all were great. Before my mom passed one of the nurses stayed by my mom incase she passed that night so she wouldn't be alone Thank God she didn't pass that night. When my mom passed away last week We were able to be by her side to tell her goodbye. I Thank each and eveyone at Harmar Place for the care my mom got and the surport They gave the family. I miss seeing their smiling faces and their kindness that shined though each and everyone of them. Harmar Place you are very Blessed to have such an amazing Staff. This place and the people will forever have a special place in my heart. Thank You for making this hard time easier. "

"My sister was in two assisted living facilities before Emerald Pointe. Since she needed nursing care, she was transferred to Emerald Pointe. It is a nursing home like no other. Her room is just like the assisted living facility's. Large private room with a big bathroom. She was sick at the assisted living facility and every time I visited, I asked that the doctor examine her. Nothing.... The first day she arrived at Emerald Pointe, she had a complete medical workup and they called to let us know of medication changes. Staff is wonderful, friendly and caring. If or when I need nursing care, this is where I want to be. Absolutely no complaints."

"This assisted living home is a new facility, but simply populated by those moved from the old county home. My grandfather is living there and he is given great care being a retired navy veteran. The staff consists of numerous RNs and doctors, with countless CNAs assisting with the day-to-day tasks. They have recently had to install a code on the door to prevent individuals from running out of the facility after an incident where an alzheimers patient stumbled out and almost got to the road in front of the building. "

"The Helen Purcell Home overall was a great place in my opinion. Compared to other facilities that i have visited in my life the staff at the Helen Purcell Home were the best. They were very kind to us and made us feel at home. During my visit there I was introduced to a number of residences and my over-all opinion was that they were very happy. I remember Mrs. Little saying that she had lived many places in her life and had experienced many different things. She went on to say that she was as happy with living in the Helen Purcell Home as she was living on her own. She loved knowing that there was a friendly staff there to assist her in her everyday activites. Everytime we went we were served lunch. The food was great!! It may have been that the over-all experience made the food great, i just remember looking forward to going. for the food, the residence's and the friendly staff. "

"The rooms have adequate space for the needs of the residents. When you walk in it does not feel like a nursing facility, it actually feels like a home. The cleanliness of the facility if beyond my expectations of any healthcare facility. I witnessed the interaction between staff and residents which was very compassionate and caring. When I left my loved one here I left at peace knowing they were in good care. This facility has been under the same ownership for many years by a faith based company which truly reflects in their residents quality of life."
