My Mother stayed there for s month, I would choose to use this nursing home again. My mother was very well cared for, clean, well feed and treated very nice by all the employees that came in to contact with her.The on;y thing that I can say that needs improvement was the size of the rooms.they need to be bigger for 2 people to share.

The kitchen is awful is always out offooff Food is slop I never Got Tray tonight if to buy my dinner tonight stay away from this place

We chose Highland Oaks Health Center because they have a long-term care facility, and it's a locked-down community. We came to like the people in the community and the people who work there. Another reason is because of the programs and stuff that they offer for memory care. They provide on a daily basis activities that encourage the members to keep up their skills such as cooking, some games, and things like that. When we first got there, they gave us a menu. I really like the staff, they're really good about doing anything that we request. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law has fallen many times and we were not notified that she had fallen, so we weren't happy about that. I wish she had a private room, but they don't have private rooms.
