Trustwell Living at Westwood Place

I visited Trustwell Living at Westwood Place. I liked the friendliness. The atmosphere was lovely and it was clean. I had visited several people over there. They seemed to be very satisfied with their living arrangements and everything. When I first went in there, it was Valentine's Day, and someone was helping them with crafts, they were making hearts and things for their doors, and just seemed to be enjoying what they were doing there. They said the only problem there was the food. It wasn't very good at all, but other than that, they were very satisfied with the way everything was handled. It was like a nice hotel room that had a bedroom, a TV, and a bathroom. The staff was very nice and helpful.

My mother moved into Westwood Place. She's been there for between two and three weeks. She has a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living room-kitchen combination. She seems very happy there. She's been able to say that they have a really good food, and she's a very picky eater. This was a really good thing for us. Visiting hours are very flexible, except for right now with the COVID situation. There's no COVID in the facility, but the area around has a lot of COVID, so they're restricting visitation right now, but the facility was very accessible. They give her choices of things that she can do. They give her a list of activities that she can participate in. She has her dog with her, and they help her with her dog, taking her outside when she needs to go. Because right now, my mother is in a wheelchair when she moves around, and they are very helpful. She has a buzzer on that she wears around her neck that she can call for help at any time, and they're there for it. She goes down and eats her dinners and things in the cafeteria room, the lunchroom, or dining hall, and with other people, so she gets out and visits. She's not stuck in her room all the time. It's a very nice facility. All the areas that I have been to have been great.

Such a wonderful and caring staff. Mom loves her apartment,as she calls it. The place has such a home-like feeling. Food is also pretty amazing. Mom enjoys doing her crafts and getting her nails done

Mom has been living at Westwood for nearly a year. She has made many friends there and the staff treats her like family. Everyone is very professional and goes above and beyond for their residents. It is a very clean and facility with lots of activities available for residents and their families.
