My mom has moved into Abbyshire Nursing Center (Formerly Scenic Hills Nrsg and Rehab Center). We chose it because it's close to home. She's actually in rehabilitation services. They're working with her in therapy and also with memory care. They're just excellent. They've taken very good care of mom so far. The nursing staff is excellent. Everything has been wonderful. The admission process was easy. They are very efficient. They talk to me whenever I call. They answer any questions that I have promptly. They are doing therapy with her, but as of right now, because of Covid, they're not letting outside ministers or any activities directors or anything like that come into the facility, so that kind of stinks. The facility is very clean and it doesn't smell. We are not paying anything right now because we're still under Medicare for 100 days, but we will be going to private pay, and we are going to keep her there. We're not going to move her because she is receiving the quality of care she needs .

Food is terrible and you shouldn't allow residents to drink alcohol
