"We were very pleased with the Golden Living facility. We went to three different facilities in Nebraska City. For the money, the Golden Living facility offered the best of all things. What really struck me was that the staff really went out of their way to make sure all of our questions were answered to our satisfaction. The nurses, aids, and activities director were all very helpful and friendly. We were invited to stay for lunch and actually met most of the other residents on the assisted living side. My mother-in-law actually enjoyed herself and has seemed to have made some new friends already. already! "

"I highly recommend Tabor Manor Care Center. My wife was there last year, and the staff was wonderful. They cared. The facility was very nice and the upkeep was very good. They had maintenance staff onsite, and the food was really good."

"My wife was out in Good Samaritan Health and Rehab. They were real good. They took really good care of her. The food was as good as you’re going to get in a big facility; it couldn’t be better. The staff seemed to be fine. "

"Golden Living Center – Plattsmouth was great, and they were great with my dad. He was there for probably a year, and he did great. It was just that it cost a lot. The nursing home part was kind of old, and they were remodeling it, but the memory care unit was beautiful, and it was a community; it was homelike. They did activities with him almost every day and he was hardly ever in bed when we went there. He was up eating and talking to people, doing activities all the time or out in the courtyards because they would take him outside in the courtyards. It was really nice. The activities were great. My dad loved it. He never fell, and I don't remember them ever calling us and telling us that he fell or got hurt or anything. The staff was very, very kind, and very well-educated. None of them acted like they were unsure of what to do. Any questions we had got answered by the person that we asked. Their dementia care was a locked unit, and my dad was in it. He wasn't a wander risk, but they decided to put him over there just because he was acting a bit unstable with his dementia. I don't think we ever saw them understaffed, and the place was immaculate and clean. The only concern that we had when we were over there one time was that we had a hard time getting in. We were a little frustrated because when we first got there and he had been admitted, we weren't sure where he was, and when we asked the nursing home side of it, nobody knew. It was just a little disorganized on the nursing home side. But, it was great. "

"My Grandma recently was a patient at Garden View after having knee surgery. The staff was very friendly and provided me with everything I needed. I had a private rehab suite that was beautiful. I would definately recommend Garden View to any friend or family member looking for a short or long term stay! "

"This place had very good employees. They took time to go and talk to my in-laws. It was very sad for her to be there and they made the transition very easy for her. They even took time to do her nails and hair on a consistent basis. I am happy to recommend them to any one. They even let her stay longer when she became wheel chair bound. They let her stay until we could find a suitable place for her to stay. "
