I liked Turnberry Apartments the best. I drove around the property and it was very clean all the way around with good parking and the grounds were clean. Going up to the doorways, there weren't paint chips and broken glass all around like some of the places that I've been to. They had separate apartments. I saw the common area and they were spotlessly clean, fresh, and new. The bathroom was very clean. The corners and cracks and crevices. Everything was very clean and well cared for. I found the rooms were very small. I don't think I could stand to be in a room that small, but it was about the size of my dorm room in boarding school. The manager was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I also met the maintenance guy very briefly. He was there talking to her and then he left. So, they looked like very nice people and they were neat and clean. The bathroom in the front lobby was locked the first time I went there and that put me in a real mess. So, I had to run around quickly and try to find somebody to let me use the bathroom in their apartment and that was how I saw an apartment inside. It was sufficient, but very tiny. The toilet was built for four-year-olds. It was a foot off the floor and no more than that and I don't ever rent an apartment that doesn't have a toilet that's 18 inches, because I've got bad knees and it's hard to get up and down. I also didn't notice that there were any grab bars. So, there needs to be a grab bar near the toilet and there needs to be at least two grab bars by the tub so that you can push yourself up and then you can hold on to something as you step out if you don't have a walk-in shower, but the facility had a very good appearance.
