I'm in Graceful Living. It's clean, and the people are pretty friendly, but the food is a downfall here. I don't like chicken or turkey, and just about every day, there's chicken or turkey. I'm tired of grilled cheese sandwiches. I like beef, pork, and fish, but beef is very rare here. I'd like meatloaf, mashed potatoes, beef stew, chili, and vegetable beef soup. There are not a lot of amenities. They'll help you take a shower, and some people need help dressing. They have a room where they do women's hair, but there's no barber. I'm overall unhappy. The staff is not good. They have a big turnover here. There are very few who have been here since I've been here. There's only one lady on duty, and she's pretty busy. So, if I want her to watch over me when I shower, I have to make an appointment, and it's usually a day or two later. The food is below average. It's an old-fashioned dining room with old tables and chairs. It needs updating badly. The space is OK, but it's not very well lit. I haven't participated in activities yet. They have an activities director, and they do bingo a lot. That's really all I've heard about. Value for the money is very poor. It's a lot of money and little service. My room is fairly small, but it's recently repainted, and it's nice and clean. I have my own bathroom, which is nice.
