My husband is at The Laurels of Pender. It is close by. It's the only one in Burgaw, really. He's had several operations on his leg. His last one didn't take that well and I cannot wait on him at home. He also has to go dialysis three times a week, and I cannot get him in a car and get him on places. The staff are friendly, nice, and most of them do their job. Sometimes you have one or two that don't, but most of them do their job. The food is not too good. It is just plain old hospital food, and they don't have much to choose from. They need better food there. The rooms are pretty big and nice. The facility is pretty well, too. This is the closest one to home so that is why we picked it.
