"The staff are wonderful. Everybody is on a first name basis and they interact with everyone. They exactly know where their residents are. When we walk in, my husband and I, they will tell me exactly where my father-in-law is. They have a library, they have a barber/hairdresser shop so that he can get his hair cut. He plays penny poker and he goes to all the events. The place has lots of windows and sunshine. The people were very nice. They treat everyone like a friend and not just a resident. They also clean his room every day. This facility is very, very beautiful place. Their dining room is absolutely beautiful. "

"All American at Washington Township had multiple floors and that concerned me. The apartment had two rooms and then they shared a bathroom and a common area, and I did not like that as much as having your own room. They had quite an array of activities and a lot of programs going. The staff seemed pretty congenial and pretty enthusiastic. The facility was brand new."

"This is my wife's third year at the Courts. The 4-neighborhood layout is a great design, and allows for lots of wandering, as dementia patients do. The rooms are just big enough for the resident. Each quadrant has its own TV room and dining area, though the residents often dine in each other's area. The food is balanced and GOOD. Always an activity going on. Lots of crafts. And they bring in various entertainers to sing and play for the residents. Usually a movie on DVD in the Community room. And always a birthday cake and party for a resident. "I visisted this place to meed my friends Granny. Initially i was a bit scared and skeptical about assited licing facilities. I was expecting a hospital kind of environment. But to my surprisewhen we visited this place , i was really surrised . This place looks nothing less than grand hotel. They have all the amenities.The have well trained and professional staff to take care of your loved ones and help thenm wih daily activities like Bathing , dressing , Housekeeping , laundry etc.most rooms includes private, specially designed baths, individually controlled heating/air conditioning systems, emergency alert response and room for your personal furniture.Really an imressive place. You can be sure that your loved ones will be taken good care here. "

"My dad is at Summit Place. Everything is very nice. We have no complaints. He has been there for two months now, and it has been good. He likes the food. He gets three meals a day plus snacks. They do bingo, and they play cards. "

"We chose The Landing of Washington Square for my mother because it's in her neighborhood, and it offered all of the services that she needed. It's a brand-new place. It's not completely staffed yet, but I've dealt with the front desk people and the two managers. There are nurses on duty every day. I dealt with every one of them and they're awesome. All of them are great. My mother has an apartment. She has a full-sized bathroom, a full-sized bedroom, a kitchen-family room sort of combination, and both are nice sized. It's a full kitchen except for a stove. I haven't had the food in a while, but my mother says she loves it. She said it's great. The Landing of Washington Square is very expensive, but all the services are there."

"Greenfield Senior Living at Cross Keys was one of my favorite places because the staff was very caring. The director was excellent; she was very knowledgeable and friendly. You could see that she was very caring and it wasn't a put-on. "

"Brookdale Evesham was the one closest to me, and it would be much easier for me to get there quickly. I did like it very much. The setup was very homelike. It had a nice overhang when you would come up to the door. It didn't have that much of a parking lot for people visiting though. I found it to be cozy, warm, and friendly. It had two floors, and it was partitioned off nicely, so there wouldn't be more than 10 people in a room at one time. Their gathering place was bigger, but still very personal. The person that took me around was really good. They had a gym for physical therapy. It's reasonably priced. There are two people always available to go to, and that's very comforting to know. "

"Symphony Square was a nice place. Lani was excellent and knew her stuff. The residents were doing baking and crafts projects while I was there. The dining area was beautiful, but I did not taste the food. The place was beautiful and brand new. They would only allow a maximum of 12 residents for the memory care unit which was a very nice thing."

"My mom has been at Chestnut Ridge for three years now. This facility is very clean. If I could afford it, I would live there myself. The rooms are very nice. My mother is in like an apartment-type room where she is able to have her own living room and bedroom and there's even a little kitchenette. They serve three meals a day plus two snacks a day. They have numerous activities. They have a wellness center there on site where they administer her medicines for her. They also have a rehab facility there. For activities, they have arts and crafts, bingo, karaoke, etc. They would take them out to go to movies or to go to casino. They would also take them out for rides or for dinners, etc."
