My mom moved into Homestead of Norfolk. We like the smaller size, the family atmosphere, and that there are lots of great activities. We like the food and the excellent care. They communicate with families and staff on any issues or concerns. They keep you updated. The food is excellent. It's homemade food and served to their table. They have a lot of choices and a great variety. The facility has a homey atmosphere, and it's very clean. They have a wide variety of activities for all different interests. They have morning coffee, exercise, bingo, movies, and a nice courtyard for people to sit outside. It is a great daily environment that people can choose to participate in activities or not. It was a very smooth transition, and everything just went well. So far, we're just very pleased.

Homestead of Norfolk was a smaller community. The place was clean and the room that was available looked good because it had new carpeting and new paint. Rhonda showed me everything and answered all my questions. They also got a little area in between the square, so you're walking on sidewalks and can just be outside.
