Hayden Grove Senior Living - St. Anthony

My sister is currently at Hayden Grove Senior Living & Memory Care - St. Anthony. They have friendly residents and good systems to look after them. It's a nice, clean and new environment. The staff is helpful and friendly. My sister got a small studio apartment that's good for her. It has a nice kitchen, closet space, and a nice view of the neighborhood. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they have a waitstaff and a small menu with various items you can order, and they bring it to your table. The food looks rather pleasant. There's a lot of activity space, too, as well as party rooms, balcony spaces, and things that you can reserve. I haven't run into anybody that's been unfriendly or unpleasant. They had residents that do drumming and singing. They have guest musicians come by. They have OT/PT available. They have crafts room resources. So, the activities are quite impressive. They are very expensive (there's not a place that isn't). If you ask for anything extra, it's charged. You pay for it, but you get what you pay for. I rate them highly for all the accessories, how nice it is, and all that. So, the cost is fair for what you get.

I toured Hayden Grove Senior Living - St. Anthony. It was an open house that I was at, not an actual interview or anything. I was given a tour with a group. It looked very nice. The price was lower than the other places, but there weren't quite as many amenities, particularly meals. It was eight dinners a month. The dining room looked fine and it was well set up. The room I saw was a one-bedroom and it can be for either independent or assisted living. It didn't have quite as many amenities unless you paid further service fees or paid for some of the meals. Everything looked neat and clean and there were plenty of group areas. As far as that, it was nice.

Hayden Grove Senior Living - St. Anthony was very nice and very new. It seemed to be very well run. That's the only one we went to because they had availability right away. The people seemed to be very happy there. It seemed to have everything you would want for a senior place. As for activities, there was a group of people playing cards. The dining room was very nice. They have another room where they do exercise classes and meetings of various sorts, plus outdoor areas. We only talked to a couple of the salespeople and the director of the place. But everybody seemed to be cheerful and helpful
