"Brookdale Centre Pointe Boulevard is a very clean facility, very well-furnished, and it was very nice. The rooms were a little small, but with what they do, I can understand why. But they were very clean, nicely appointed and everything and I was totally satisfied with what I saw. The person who assisted me was very helpful and very nice, and when I had a question they answered it and explained things. Their amenities were complete for my mom's needs."

"Magnolia Place of Cairo is very caring. The rooms is good. They have bingo, devotion, and exercise daily. They have a library and go out every other week to eat. Meals are provided in a very nice dining area. The food is good."

"We toured Legacy Village at Plantation Manor. They were very kind. They were very cordial. They were very thorough, nothing but kindness. You had to furnish your own rooms. The dining area was like a big fine restaurant. It was neat, clean, and well organized. It's an older building that they've restored and recently remodeled. It is up to date and has some unique stuff in it too."

"My mom moved into Harborview Thomasville 2 weeks ago. The nursing staff is very nice and they help with any questions we have. They're very considerate. They check on her, and they're very helpful. She's in a private room. The dining area is nice and clean. She likes the food that they serve. They have daily activities. They keep a schedule of everything they want to do. They had a Christmas party and New Year's party. She gets physical and occupational therapy."

"I toured the Villas at Killearn Lakes. It was wonderful, and that's where I would want to be if I needed to be there. The size of the room is excellent. The villas are individual buildings, and I think each building has eight bedrooms with a private bath. Then, there's a very large area, and in that large area, it's like a big home. The kitchen is right there, and all the food is prepared right in front of the residents. It's just eight people in a building. They look like houses, and it's fantastic. It's the only one I've ever seen like that. The kitchen is spotless. It's excellent. The staff who gave the tour was very thorough. She answered all questions and knew exactly what was going on. They had beautiful gardens, and each building had its hair salon, a good-sized library, books, puzzles, and games."

"I didn't think Tallahassee Memory Care was as nice, cheerful or roomy. It was OK. The impression I got was not quite as good as the other facility. The people there seemed OK. I mean memory care people don't necessarily seem happy, but it just seemed kind of serene. The cleanliness was not quite as good as the other facility, but it was OK. Location was handy but not quite as handy as the other facility. "

"From the tour that I took, I was thoroughly impressed with The Grove at Canopy. The willingness of the staff to assist me and help me just gave me a great feeling when I walked inside the place. I think that most of the buildings were very well-maintained and very clean. The overall appearance was very nice. They have everything there. They have a salon, a movie theater, and a restaurant. Their dining room appeared to be more like a restaurant where you walk in and there's somebody there that helps you get seated and given menus. It just looked like a high-class hotel."

"Tapestry Senior Living Walden was as nice as the other place. I just didn't see any advantage, it is farther east of Tallahassee, and we were hoping to get my mother a little bit closer to us. I didn't see anything that made me feel like it was advantageous for her to move farther out. Everything was pretty nice. I didn't feel the same as far as the homeyness, although it was not unfriendly or anything like that, it just didn't hit me the same way. They did gardening, those activities in the spring and summer. They do not have a pool, but she doesn't use one anyway. They had three meals a day, housekeeping, and laundry. They were a little bit higher in their monthly costs. We did eat lunch there, and the food was very good. They had a large selection of items for the meals."

"If your loved one needs any care other than food and a room and little medicine. May be ok. If they need assistance, avoid like the plague. Seemed Untrained, high turnover, I saw some residents left alone for hours. Meds were often late, activities were at times non-existent. Patients with any issues with walking could be stuck in a wheelchair. Help with feeding was hit and miss. They could lose weight fast. Its very sad. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I saw things that aren't allowed to be reported in this review. Keep your eyes wide open. Hopefully they have addressed many of the issues I witnessed."

"We have chosen Canterfield of Tallahassee. It is a beautiful facility. As soon as you walk in, it's very bright. There are lots of windows, and the colors are light. It's very welcoming as soon as you walk in, and everything is very clean. I like that there are plenty of seating areas throughout the facility for visitors or the residents just to relax, and there's a seating area outside, too. The staff that I've met seemed very caring and knowledgeable. Those were all the things that we took into consideration. The staff who took us around was very sweet and caring. She talked to my dad a lot and didn't just ignore him or anything. She engaged him. She introduced us to the staff that we came across and she introduced us to residents, too. She showed us more than one room to see what my dad would prefer. She was overall very pleasant. My dad and I have eaten there twice when we were there, and the food was very good. The cleanliness is a 5, and the layout is fine. The only thing I don't like there is that they don't have a lot of parking, but I can deal with that."

"This agency has been very helpful in helping my mother transition. They have Offered help so far in each transition she's had to make. One of the last things They did was to fit mother with a locator bracelet in case she ever gets lost. A woman came out and lovingly explained how it all worked and put it on her. This is not something my mom would've allowed just anyone to do. I look forward now to walking through this disease with the help of this agency. "
