My mother was receiving rehab at Sherrill House. She stayed there for three weeks. I thought the social workers were good at communicating and the nursing staff came in to check with her regularly. I'm not sure she had a clear idea of what her treatment was. It's possible that that was explained to her and she just had a hard time following all of it. I would recommend that they maybe have something written down for residents so that if they're having memory issues, they can at least see what their day looks like or their calendar looks like, but on the whole, I thought they did a fine job. She was sharing a room with another resident. It was like being in a hospital. It didn't feel like being in a home. She did need medical care, so that was OK.
