"My mom moved into Windsor Place this past weekend. Kudos to the entire staff for a seamless transition. All knew my mom by name and were aware of her needs. The prepararion for a new resident was obvious and much appreciated. My mom already feels comfortable due to the friendliness and helpfulness that surround her. She has already participated in many activities and looks forward to many of the planned outings. For example, a cruise down the Concord River is scheduled for this week. Another appreciation is the open door policy of administration. Dialogue is encouraged and never rushed. Windsor is a great place!"

"I moved into Ashland Farm at North Andover. The people who work here are wonderful. They're very caring, very helpful, and willing to do whatever they can do. They are very, very nice, and the residents are very friendly and very welcoming. The room is nice. The bedroom is very, very small. I couldn't get my furniture in, but then I'm in a wheelchair and I'm having a lot of trouble getting around in the rooms. The rooms are small, and I only have one arm to use. It's lovely downstairs. The lobby and everything is beautiful, very nice furniture, curtains, and pictures on the wall. It's very nice. The food is adequate (not great), and I expected more. They have games, films, and trips in the van."

"Windham Terrace was very nice, but we felt it was too expensive for us. We wouldn't be comfortable worrying if we would have enough money for the rent every month. But it was very nice and it had a cozy feeling about it. The people were sitting around in a lounge with a fireplace, while some residents were in the kitchen. The staff and rooms were very nice. If it had been much cheaper to live there, we probably would have done so. "

"The Gables was a nice, quaint place on a waterfront that was close to Sutton and conveniences. I liked its ambiance. "

"We had to move my mother up to NH from NJ during the Coronavirus pandemic. This facility is perfect for her. The staff is very caring, attentive, and welcoming. Mom loves the food and the homey atmosphere. She likes that it is small and all women. "

"The Delaney at the Vale wasn't right for us, but it was a fine facility. The staff was very helpful and spent a lot of time. It really seemed ideal for a certain kind of person, but we wanted to be more urban. We are New Yorkers, and it was like a resort. It's not really what we wanted. We needed it to be closer to town, that kind of thing, but the facility itself was brand new."

"The facility is very clean and very well run. My mom is in a single room apartment. She's very happy there. The staff is very committed and dedicated. They take care of my mother well. They did a good job in putting the place together. I can sense their commitment. "

"Scandinavian Living Center was an absolutely lovely facility. Great staff, beautiful, lots of recreational and educational opportunities, and good food. It had beautiful rooms, small, intimate settings. You name it, they have it: music, dance, games, outside speakers coming in, and community organizations that meet in the building so the seniors can participate. You basically have a little apartment with a little bit of a kitchenette, but they had communal meals too."

"Maplewood at Weston was in the process of completely redoing the interior. They had both one and two-bedroom apartments. The two-bedroom was in a small size, but it was livable. They had a wonderful calendar of events. They had a very sort of intellectual approach to their calendar. I wasn’t just like playing bingo. They had really good speakers and musicians. The staff was very good in answering questions. When I left there, they gave me a lemon and poppy seed cake. I liked it there. "

"The staff at Epoch has been phenomenal. They have gone out of their way to be present every day in my mother's life, from physical care to encouraging her to engage in activities making a point of getting her out of her room. My family could not be happier! "

"My father is in Wingate Residences at Haverhill. We're gonna try it out for 30 days and see what happens from there. If he wants to stay, we'll let him stay there. He just got in there a couple of days ago. He's staying in an apartment unit. It's a new facility, which is a big white building in the back. They're very pleasant and very helpful. It's a nice, quiet community, plus they have a lot of activities for them. They haven't started yet. They have therapy, which is good. They put his medications in packets for him, so he won't forget. They're supposed to give him delicious food. He has an outdoor area, and it's beautiful. He uses a wheelchair and he can go out there, sit, and enjoy the fresh air. I hope he decides to stay there. I eat with him if I want to and I pay per plate. He likes the food. It's gorgeous inside. It's beautiful. There's an activity director, but I don't know what activities they have for them. I'm sure they'll keep them occupied. The price is really not bad; every place is expensive."

"Brigham House is in a residential area, which is two blocks from my mother's house. We went in, and we enjoyed everything. We talked to the people living there, and they seemed to really like the place. There's a nice big park there, and we can wheel her out. People can come, visit, and walk through the park. The school is also right here, so you feel like there are people around. She's happy there. They put on little shows every now and then. They have people come in with music, and they have animals come and visit. They have bingo nights and a little bit of everything, which keeps her busy. My brothers have positive things to say about it and so does my mother. "

"My husband will be moving into Benchmark Senior Living at Leominster Crossings. We chose it because it had a very high level of care. It's a small facility. They have 50 residents at the most, and that includes assisted living and memory care. It seemed to be very well run. The people I've met were very pleasant, friendly, informative, and very cheerful, and that was very important to me. It was bright and cheerful in the memory care area. They had a courtyard and a space for exercise. They had a salon. They had a lovely patio, and the grounds were beautiful."

"I was able to visit Providence House, and the experience was very positive. It has a steel feel to it. No frills. I met their marketing personnel. I had lunch there, and the food was excellent. I have now decided to move there. The atmosphere also I felt that I fit in the place. I received their full package of information, and I was impressed with the scope of the activities available. The staff was very responsive. "
