"The rooms are spacious and very attractive and cozy. My mother Loves living here. She is independent, needing little care. Activities are offered every day including tours of local interest. Bus trips have included Botanical Garden, Casino, shopping excursions and a long list of places to go for the adventurers among us. Creative arts , visiting musicians, game-playing, book club, themed social gatherings, movies with popcrn and snacks, Chef culinary tutorial.outdoor bar-b-ques. The list goes on. My 98 yr old Mom says the food is fantastic and she enjoys Chef's creative "specials" Friendly, patient, caring Staff is always available and helpful and there is no shortage of humor"

"I visited Brookdale Eddy Pond West. The staff was very friendly. They made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and they try to help me look at the most affordable options. We looked at both the 1-bedroom and the studio, and they were both nice. We decided against a 1-bedroom for my mother. We didn't think she needed that much room, and the studio is the better option. The person who gave us the tour was very helpful, very friendly, and listened to all our concerns and questions. She was very good."

"My experience with Brookdale Eddy Pond West was very positive. We thought it was a good place. It was definitely more affordable than the others. The place was very clean, and it seemed very nice. The person who gave us the tour was Betsy. She was really great, spent a lot of time with us, wanted to really get to know all of my father-in-law's needs, and took lots of notes. She was very thorough. The dining area looked great. We observed some activities; some of the residents were doing nail painting."

"My experience with Leominster Crossing is excellent. We talked to a number of residents there and they were all very happy. They said the meals were delicious, and they were treated very nicely. It seemed to be a more homelike environment. They had an outside picnic/sitting area where families can be outside in the summer. They can sit outside, outback; it wasn’t near a highway, and they had a fence up and some woods around. It didn’t look like a city dwelling place but looked more country. The dining area was very bright and cheery, very clean, and they had a number of meal choices that an individual can choose from. They always have a fish and vegetable meal for vegetarians. They can choose a different meal other than those being served. They had different activities. They had gardening, reading, and music. I was very impressed with them. "

"The Residence At Orchard Grove is a new facility. It's only a few years old, so it was, you know, a lot more up-to-date and nice. They had a nice outdoor area. The common areas were just more airy, newer, and just a more upbeat, more up-to-date feel. We saw the main lobby area, and then we went into memory care. The place is very nice. The person who took us around, I think was the director of sales. She was very nice, very good, and empathetic. They gave us a baked product as sort of a gift. It was like blueberry bread or something that their kitchen had made. It was pretty good, just like a coffee cake; I would rate that a four, it was decent. They have an outdoor yard that's got a wall for memory care so that the people are secure, which is a good thing to have."

"My mother stayed at Keystone Commons for a couple of months. I like that they didn't let the people lay in bed all day. They got them dressed and involved them in activities. It helped my mother because she had always been in bed and sleeping. It was good to see her with other people. They were very good to the people. They could have done a little bit more with cleaning the rooms, but everything else was very well kept. The staff members were wonderful. Everybody knew all the patients. It was nice to hear them call the patients by name and get them to be a part of everything. Around Easter, they had a big thing for patients and families. They had a lot of food, and the food was out of this world. One of the things that got me was that they did so much with the families and got everybody involved, not just the patients. The one thing that I wasn't really happy about was that my sister would go over and set up medicine for my mother. Sometimes, they weren't administered in the right way, and I was a little upset about that because it was important for my mom to have her medicine done a certain way. But other than that, I would rate them highly. We got good value for her money."

"My mother is at Orchard Valley at Wilbraham. It is very nice, and the community itself is beautiful. The location is great. It's very close to where I live, so I am able to visit her very often. She is in the memory care, and it is not crowded. The staff seems very caring too. They know what they're doing, and they are very professional. Her room is very spacious. They have a recreation room. I saw them around a table and doing some sort of decorations or coloring activities. The place is very clean and tidy. It is definitely worth the money."

"I'm at The Highlands Gracious Retirement in Westborough. It's very nice. The staff is very nice. The people are nice. My apartment is a studio and it's fine. It has everything I need. They are very responsive if I need anything. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but I also have a kitchenette. The food is OK. They have a movie theater. They have a bus that takes you to local stores and grocery stores and things like that, if needed, twice a week. They have a library and pool tables."

"Pleasant Hill Retirement is fairly new. It seemed a lot more open and a lot more cheerful. It wasn't dark. And I got to talk to a few residents there, and they were all happy that they had made the move. The staff was very interested in meeting new people. She encouraged me to make the move and try to fit in. I had lunch there, and it was good. The atmosphere was very nice. The lady I met was waiting for me when I arrived through the door and there was a sign saying, 'Welcome, Maureen' and that kind of thing. It was very, very inviting. The rooms were very good."

"I am a resident of the Reservoir Healthcare Center of Marlboro, and I love it here, I have been here for 7 years. I find it very easy to live here, even in these new situations of covid19, I can say that they, the staff are doing everything possible to keep us safe. They provide activities and make sure that we have things that we want and need. The nurses are awesome and the activity department are just going above and beyond, although we can't have visitors we have visits from staff members especially from activities, they bring us coffee daily, there is no better place to be right now."

"The Branches of Marlboro was a beautiful place. My dad toured with me and he has a standup walker with him, but he could maneuver that throughout the entire facility. Even when we went into the room, he could bring that giant upright walker everywhere. Transitioning from threshold to threshold wasn't an issue. He could bring it into the bathroom all the way right up to the toilet. He didn't have to set it aside. He can do laps up and down the hallways, so he could do some walking exercises. It was an excellent visit. Brittany sat down and talked to us for an hour and a half before we even started the tour. I was very, very pleased with that. We didn't meet a lot of the staff. We saw them interacting with the few residents that were there and everyone just seemed very happy. The facility looked immaculate."

"I toured The Wellington at Springfield. It's in a beautiful area, very, very beautiful, pretty area. The building inside and out was very clean and very organized. The people up front were just wonderful. I can't remember that girl's name, but she was very helpful. The rooms were perfect. I loved Wellington. Full kitchen, so all the appliances were there, which made a big difference."
