My father was a resident in the Guest House for 5 months. During that time he was extremely well taken of and loved by the Administration and staff. Honestly there are not words to express how wonderful they were and how grateful I am!!! All residents and workers were recently tested for COVID 19 and 100% were found to be NEGATIVE!!! This is unheard of and speaks to the quality of care given at The Guest House! Way to go!!!!

My stay there was for rehabilitation of a hip injury Overall the facility gave great service But the regular staff needed to go to a school to work on their attitude, and that’s a nice way of putting it. Like all medical facilities, they are understaffed and work too many hours and not enough help

My sister has been at The Guest House for 21 or 22 days, and we’re getting accustomed to things. Her room wasn’t large, but it wasn’t small either. She has a closet. She has a thing in the corner where she can put pictures, and we got pictures from home there. She has a dresser where all of her toiletry goes and a dresser where clothes are hung up. They give her her medicine at a week, so everything seems to be going good. They have a lot of activities there. On either Friday or Saturday, the ladies can go and have their fingernails painted. She participates in therapy, and they’re having therapy everyday to try to stand up and walk. On Thursday, they have a lady who has some dogs come in.

I visited the facility recently for family BBQ. The residents were so happy. There was music and dancing! Everyone was having such a good time. The staff is super nice and helpful. They enjoyed watching the residents have a great time! Everyone there seems to really care about the people!

The administrator of Guest House is really impressive. He is hands on, he takes pride in taking care of people, great in knowing your likes and dislikes, and he knows all his people, so it works out really well. He is not sitting doing paper works. He visit the rooms. He is phenomenal. I know they have different people come in to sing and dance. They even have some of the high school kids come by to help. Even the ladies who wants to have their hair done or their nails, he lets people come in and do that. I think they have a movie nights, too. My mom is not a big TV watcher, but all of them have TV in their rooms. What stands out is the staff. They don’t have that much of turnover and the people seem to be compassionate and know how to take care of us as well as the residents. They encourage mom to go down to be with everybody else. She likes the food and she did tell me she gets too much food. They are there to do what you say or interpret what you do. They are really good in listening. So, far I haven't had to do much of anything. I really and truly have a sense of peace because I know mom is doing okay every time I check.
