I'm in Heritage Manor of Bossier right now. They have the most caring people in the world. As for the rooms, it's like living in a bomb shelter, actually. It has concrete-block walls, and it's about ten feet by twenty feet. There are two people to a room, but I'm fortunate right now to be living all by myself here. The food is awful. The dining room is large, and we currently are unable to use it, but it's coming back quickly with this COVID thing. We get to play bingo twice a week sometimes. The atmosphere is fine, but it's a nursing home, so there's no way it could be homey.

Heritage Manor proved to be an excellent facility. It was clean and the staff were friendly. My mother was given much needed atrtention. The facility itself was small enough that the staff were able to provide individual attention to all of the residents. They offered a variety of activities for the residents. My mother especially enjoyed arts and crafts. At Christmas, all of the family members and residents were invited to attend a musical program and were given the opportunity to eat Christmas dinner with their loved ones. Later in the day presents which were under their big Christamas tree were handed out to the residents. I believe this was one of my mother's favorite days in the facility. As time went on, my motherr's condition worsened and the staff become even more attentive and helpful. I can't begin to express the peace of mind my siblings and I had due to the care provided by Heritage Manor.
