We chose Grisell Memorial Rhode Island Suites in Ransom, KS, because that is my mom's hometown. They have activities there, but she is not really able to participate in them. They have an activity calendar that they put out every month; they have something going on every day. I know they play Bingo, and they have a cooking time where they cook various dishes. They also have church service every week, and my mom does go to that. The food is very good. The staff is very caring from what I have seen of them. They seem to be very caring and knowledgeable in what they are doing. My mom tells me they are short-staffed on the weekends, so they probably have to improve on that.
