"Brookdale Clinton seemed nice, warm, and caring. They had a gym, salon, and they take them to Wal-Mart and different churches. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were served in the dining room. They had mail delivery and pickup right there at the facility. We saw the menu and the dining room, and we got to speak to a couple of the residents and staff there. The assistant director showed us the different apartments and activity places."

"My parents moved to The New Burton Homestead. We're still trying to get them settled because they were still downsizing from their apartment, but overall, they're very happy with the people and the facility. Most of the rooms are just a single room, but my parents pay for a double. They just have a place for a bed across from one end, a bathroom in the middle, and a recliner. I mean, it's more like just a room separated by a bathroom, no cabinets or cupboards or anything. At one end, they have a small closet, and at the other end, they have a small closet. They pay one price, which is quite a bit for two people. It's a different price than what was on the website. The prices have gone up, but they can use a washer and dryer and not have to pay extra because they're already paying a pretty high price. The staff was wonderful. They said they played bingo. My parents haven't talked about any activities. We think it's reasonable compared to all the other places we checked into that were more expensive."

"Schuyler Commons was very nice and clean, and things seemed well kept up. However, the carpet was dark and light. The refrigerators and stoves were black colors, and the cabinets in the kitchen were dark, so it felt like it gave the apartment a dark look, and we prefer a lighter feeling or something. For amenities, they had a swimming pool, a craft room, and a big community room. They had a bus that could take you to different places. I think the amenities were good. It seemed like a nice place. The staff who gave me the tour live there and are very knowledgeable."

"The Masonic Home.... A generous assisted living provider to ever live with. (and when i say ever, i mean EVER!) The staff members are caring, gentle, kind, and sweet. Everytime i would make a plan to go and visit my mother they'd always surprise me with a huge table full of food and drinks for me to choose from. The facilities in which the home members are kept in a decent. Each having a bed, a couch, a television, a table with a couple of chairs surrounding it, a couple of rugs on the floor, and much much more incredible living experiences. The only negative thing i find there is the music they play all day long. Oh my god! Classical music. Please tell me who still listens to that now-a-days? But, that's not a major problem...many people actually like it. All in all, i find the Masonic Home a great place to be and to visit. "

"I attended a 70th birthday party for a resident on December 29th. The food was excellent, the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I heard nothing but great things from everyone that attended this "oops" party at Acacia. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience for the Birthday "Boy". "

"My sister has moved into Preswick Glen. It's very nice. We chose it because her daughter lives very close there. The staff is friendly. It's in very good condition. The activities seem pretty comprehensive. She's enjoyed them. It's a very quiet and nice residential community outside of the cities."
